BDH Associates was formed in 1991 by Bob Hrehor who had just left his position as an underwriter for a large insurance company. He wanted to help people get the bonds they need to keep their business running. Since 1991, BDH Associates has grown into a 7 person team specializing in all types of surety bonds. Currently we have 3 contract underwriters (bid/ performance and payment) and 2 license and permit underwriters. Our staff is larger than most of the Insurance Companies offices.  This staffing allows us to give our customers the personalized attention it takes to keep them successful.

Our underwriters have years of experience working as underwriters at large insurance companies such as Hartford, St. Paul (now Travelers) Crum and Forster and Ohios Casualty (now Liberty Mutual). We know what our insurance companies are looking for which gives us the advantage.

BDH Associates supplies bonds for all size contractors. We currently have contractors who request bonds over $30,000,000 as well as small contractors who need a $25,000 bond. We work hard for every client, regardless of size.
