License and Permit Bonds:

Thank you for your interest in BDH Associates' license and permit bonds. We have the ability to write most of the thousands of different types of surety bonds used today. We write them with A rated surety companies who offer competitive rates.

Our license and permit department is broken down into two sections. Our new business department handles just what it says, new business. Your account will be underwritten and shopped to the markets available for the bond you need. Once it’s shopped to our different markets, we take the best deal the sureties offer and let you know what the rate is. In most cases the surety companies have a set rate for a bond type. In this case, you either qualify or you don’t.

Our renewal/cancellation/changes department handles all bond renewals and cancellations. You will receive a renewal notice in the mail, which includes the premium amount for another year as well as a detailed list of updated information that might be needed for your specific bond type. At this time, you will send back your payment and additional information. It’s as easy as that. If your new information is not as strong as the initial information submitted, we may need to send your account to other sureties to remarket it. This department will also cancel your bond if you request that. Many times bonds are no longer needed due to a business being closed or the regulations no longer requiring a bond. In this situation, send us in writing your request to cancel your bond and we will do so immediately.
